Terry Giovannini

Terry Giovannini, Chief Program Officer, is a resourceful and multifaceted executive leveraging substantial experience in administration within the fields of public health, health care, housing, and social services.

Terry previously served the Mission Neighborhood Health Center (MNHC) as their Director of Clinical Operations and Quality Improvement since 2021. At MNHC as part of the Senior Management team, his department operated out of a multi-site, federally-qualified health center in the Mission District that served more than 16,000 patients annually.

Prior to his time at MNHC, Giovannini lived and worked in Ecuador, spending 2007 through 2021 as the Chief Executive Officer of Giovannini Moretti International, LTD. Before relocating to Ecuador, he was the Director of Community Health Programs with California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC), the Wellness Director/Associate Executive Director at MNHC, and worked as a consultant specializing in external grant writing and development.

Terry graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, received his Master of Social Welfare and Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and later his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from John Hopkins University. He lives in San Francisco with his family, and he has two adult children who are currently studying in college. He loves to travel and to see the world with family and friends.
