After over 50 years of private and academic practice, Dr. Crawford began volunteering in St. Anthony’s in 2015. He is a clinical professor of ophthalmology at the University of California San Francisco, and previously served as chief of ophthalmology at Children’s Hospital in San Francisco and president of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He takes satisfaction in talking with his patients, learning about their lives, educating them about the health of their eyes, and solving their problems.
