The Employment Program / Tech Lab offers essential technology and employment skills to Tenderloin residents and non-profit agencies. The EPTL provides technology and vocational skills that improve employment opportunities, allows access to essential community resources, and establish re-connections with family and friends. |

Participants in the EPTL can access a drop-in computer lab, one-on-one tutorials, job search workshops, a wide range of computer classes, and the opportunity to learn how to become an A+ certified computer technician. For more information please call (415) 592-2766.
There are four components of the Employment Program/Tech Lab:
The EPTL offers formal classes and access to computers for low-income and homeless residents of The Tenderloin. We provide training on state of the art machines in basic word processing, spreedsheets, and other office programs necassary to succeed in today’s job market. Advanced students can work towards obtaining an A+ certification, the industry standard for entry-level computer technichians.
The Employment Program / Tech Lab is
located at 150 Golden Gate Avenue on The Third Floor. Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m., Wednesday 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Orientations are held every Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m. and last about one hour.
Job Search
The Job Search Program offers one-on-one
counseling and assistance to participants who are actively seeking
long-term employment. After clients receive jobs, the program continues
to support the client through post-placement services, individual
counseling, and followups.

A+ Computer Training Program
The A+ Computer Training Program offers training in desktop computer
repair, maintenance and networking. Students work toward obtaining
A+ Certification, the industry standard for computer technicians.
In addition to classroom instruction, students participate in hands on workshops in computer repair and refurbishing.
Computer donations are accepted from individuals,
corporations and organizations. During their course of study, interns
repair these computers, which are then distributed to local schools
and non-profits. Interns are also assisted with job search, and
life skills as an integral aspect of the program. St. Anthony Foundation's
A+ Computer Internship Program is a Microsoft
Authorized Refurbisher.

Computer Training Center
The Technology Program offers classes tailored
to the unique learning styles of adults, and assists students who
have not experienced success in traditional learning environments.
These classes also offer specialized and remedial training for those
who have barriers to employment or job retention. Our classes include:

Drop-in Computer Lab
