St. Anthony's International Women's Day Service Event

VOLUNTEER EVENT: INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” – Mother Teresa

Join St. Anthony’s Young Professionals Council as they celebrate International Women’s Day with an after-work service event to impact the lives of the women served in St. Anthony’s programs. Together we’ll support an empowerment experience for low-income and homeless women in San Francisco.

Volunteer activities at the service event include sorting clothes, setting up clothing racks, writing personal notes, and creating gift bags and decorations for the annual Women’s Day Event the following day. A tour of St. Anthony’s programs and services will also be available.

WHEN: Thursday, March 7th, 5:30pM – 7:30PM
WHERE: St. Anthony’s Free Clothing Program (121 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102)

  • If you would like to make a monetary gift, your donation will enable us to supply women with the critical items that they need.
  • If you would like to contribute supplies, but can’t attend the event, consider making a purchase from our annual Menstrual Product Drive’s Amazon Wishlist and have it delivered directly to St. Anthony’s.

THANK YOU! We’ve reached capacity for our International Women’s Day Service Event. Please reach out to Volunteer Services at volunteer@stanthonysf.org if you have any questions.
