There’s no easier or more effective way for your business to make a difference in the lives of San Franciscans in need than by helping at St. Anthony’s.
From the City’s largest companies (Salesforce, Gap) to recent startups (Zendesk, Gliffy) we build strong relationships with our partners whose donations and volunteering help us provide services with respect and dignity 365 days a year.
St. Anthony’s provides an opportunity for your employees to get involved and connect with their community.
Our corporate group volunteer coordinator will schedule your group in our dining room, kitchen, or clothing program. How does it work? What will your colleagues be doing? Check out this video from our friends at Silicon Valley Bank and see.
We can accommodate groups large and small. Each benefits from a brief orientation & training session before being set to work. These can be tailored to the specific needs of your business and can include remarks by speakers from the group.
Dining Room volunteers work as a team on our food line – assembling meals to be provided to our guests. Volunteers also provide ‘table service’ to seniors, families and people with disabilities as well as helping bussing tables. Dining Room volunteer shifts are from 9.00am to 1.00pm. The Kitchen and Dining Room are open 365 days a year.
Free Clothing Program volunteers help sort and hang donated clothing – and help 150 guests each day select correctly-fitting clothes. The clothing program is open weekdays between 9.00am and 12.00pm and between 1.00pm and 4.00pm.
Every Thursday afternoon, volunteers are also needed at our ‘farmers market’ where neighborhood seniors receive supplies of fresh groceries for the week.
For more information, or to schedule your group, please contact our corporate volunteer coordinator Erika Hapa on 415-592-2728 or groupvolunteer@StAnthonySF.org.
