70 Years Inspired by Hope – Volunteer with us
“I keep coming back to St. Anthony’s because of the authentic relationships I build here. It feels like family.”
For the past 70 years, volunteers have made our work possible. When our doors opened in 1950, the community was there to help serve meals in our Dining Room. Since then, our programs have expanded and our Volunteer Program has along with it. Today volunteers provide over 130,000 hours of service each year, and simply put, they are an integral part of our community.
Volunteers not only serve meals, assist guests find clothing, or tutor guests in technology, they connect with our guests and foster a sense of community and belonging.
St. Anthony’s has always been committed to serving our guests even through the most difficult times. Although the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way in which we function, St. Anthony’s continues to provide essential services for those in our community and there are volunteer opportunities available!
All volunteers are required to wear masks at all times, and all of our volunteer shifts allow for social distancing. Please see our shift calendar for current opportunities. We understand our Dining Room shifts may not be the best fit for everyone, and more volunteer opportunities are coming soon!
