David Delaney

David Delaney joined St. Anthony’s in April 2025 as Chief Financial Officer. He brings decades of leadership experience in healthcare finance, grounded in a belief that everyone deserves access to affordable, quality care. David began his career as an Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen & Co. before serving 11 years as CFO of Regional Medical Center of San Jose. He later held key leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente, including CFO of the Hawaii region and SVP Operations Finance Officer for all of Kaiser, before moving on to serve as CFO for the Medicaid segment of CVS’s Aetna business and VP Operations Finance Officer at Sutter Health.

Throughout his career, David has sought opportunities to advance integrated care models. Inspired by conversations with Dr. Larry Kwan, he joined St. Anthony’s to help strengthen infrastructure and support the organization’s vision of a fully integrated service model—encompassing shelter, physical and mental wellness, nutrition, personal care, and community connection. He hopes to contribute to building a model that not only transforms care in San Francisco’s Tenderloin but could serve as a blueprint for organizations across the country.

Outside of work, David is an avid traveler, cyclist, and outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys hiking, working out, reading, attending concerts and sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
