Hot Meals and Human Connection
In San Francisco, one in five adults lacks the resources to provide food for themselves or their families. In the Tenderloin district, that number is as high as one in two. We help address food insecurity by serving over 1,000 guests each day. We take pride in the quality of our meals, ensuring that they are not only nutritious, but delicious too!
The Dining Room also hosts a weekly “Farmers Market.” This food distribution program provides groceries to hundreds of low-income Tenderloin residents and seniors.
Our Dining Room has always served more than a meal, functioning as a vital cultural space, where everyone is invited to come together in community. Our team provides valuable bridges to stability for our guests by connecting them to other services at St. Anthony’s and beyond. We also offer meaningful community-building activities after hours.

We accept food donations by appointment only. Check out our donation guide to see what we do and do not accept!
