About the Franciscans

Franciscan Friar Fr. Alfred Boddeker founded St. Anthony’s in 1950. Since our inception, we’ve been guided by the Franciscan values of Healing, Community, Personalism, Justice, and Gratitude.

Today, Franciscan friars continue to play a large role in our organization. Our friars strive to promote justice and peace, and are devoted to helping those living in poverty. Brother Christopher Best, OFM and Brother Dick Tandy, OFM are chaplains to St. Anthony’s.

You can find out more about the Franciscans by watching the video below or visiting their website.
