Volunter Positions

There is a wide variety of opportunities  available for individuals wishing to volunteer.  Both ongoing and short term positions are available throughout St. Anthony’s 11 programs for individuals to get involved with.   Opportunities are available throughout the Foundation. Click here to read about our volunteer positions.

Special Skills Needs

We often have specialized volunteering needs, such as that of skilled translators in Asian (& other languages) languages, for example, and life skills/money management tutors who are familiar with alcohol & drug addiction recovery perspectives.

Special Events

We also have an ongoing need for enthusiastic special events volunteers throughout the calendar year, such as our “Diabetic Clinic” or “Hunger Awareness Day”.  If you are willing to be on a call/email list for Special Events, please indicate that at your volunteer orientation, or contact the Volunteer Coordinator directly volunteer@stanthonysf.org after your orientation.

Group Volunteers

Volunteer with a Group from your School, Church, Club or Workplace: In collaboration with our Justice Education Program, we provide day-long, half-day and evening experiences. The service experience involves an orientation, two to three hours of volunteering, followed by an hour-long reflection and discussion session. The reflection sessions are designed to meet the particular needs or interests of the group. Click here to learn more about arranging a group visit through our Justice Education Program.
